-My absolute/CO2 is of a very thick/solid consistency. How do I make it pourable?

With few exceptions to the rule, very thick/solid materials can be made pourable by placing the bottle (cap tightly on) in a cup, then filling the cup with boiling hot kettle water (without submerging the cap) and placing a tea coaster on the cup. Allow for a few minutes until the materials becomes pourable and ready to use. Should you have any trouble with this process please get in touch and we will try to assist you further.

-Why does my CO2 look in smaller amounts than stated?

Some waxy materials (like rose CO2 or lilac CO2) might have a bigger volume when warmed up. Viscous materials have to be warmed up in order to be made pourable to enable us to decant them.

-Which oils can be safely used in food flavouring?

We can ship the materials offered on our wholesale website to the following European countries –

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain (and Baleari), Sweden, UK.

We have a minimum order of €100 for all the countries we supply to.

-How long does it take for my wholesale order to be delivered?

So long as we have all items in stock then usually orders are dispatched inside four working days of receiving payment in full within our business account. If we have to order materials in from our suppliers then orders can take longer to be dispatched. In such circumstances we will contact the customer and inform them of this prior to the order being accepted by Hermitage Oils.

-Why can’t I pay online for my wholesale order?

Wholesale orders are generally of a much higher value than retail orders. We also work with much smaller margins in place when selling materials in wholesale weights. As such we can not afford to absorb any card fees. Therefore once you have submitted your order via the website we will contact you via email to confirm your order and to provide you with the Hermitage Oils bank details.

-Can I deduct VAT from my wholesale order?

Yes, if you are VAT registered and outside of Italy. You simply need to enter your valid VAT number into the box at checkout and the number you enter will be automatically checked. The VAT will then be deducted from the order total so long as the shipping destination is also outside of Italy.

Can I get free SDS for the materials purchased wholesale?

Yes, you can get in touch via email if you have purchased products from this wholesale website and wish to obtain the respective SDS. The requested documentation will be provided in electronic (pdf) format only.
